The long rumored Monty Python project “Absolutely Anything” has added Gemma Arterton (“Clash of the Titans”) and is in talks with  Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch. The actor is quite busy these days. He’s signed on to play Beatles manager Brian Epstein in “The Fifth Beatle.”Terry Jones will direct the flick, which will include voiceovers from Monty Python alums Jones, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin. Robin Williams will lend his voice also.

The movie is about a teacher who suddenly discovers he has magical powers, including bringing people back to life. Things don’t go according to plan for him, however, and he encounters some problems. With Jones at the helm, these problems will no doubt lead to comedic entanglements.

Filming should begin in 2013. The cast looks great, and legions of Monty Python fans have been waiting for any kind of collaboration between the actors. Here’s hoping this one gets rolling, and can live up to what will be some extremely high expectations.
