The Obama/Biden ticket may not have carried Indiana on Tuesday, but that won’t stop Vice President Joseph Biden from appearing on an upcoming episode of NBC’s Parks & Recreation.

According to the New York Times, Biden’s appearance was secretly filmed over the summer in Washington, when the series shot an episode there. The upcoming appearance, to air on Nov. 15, was kept secret prior to the election in accordance with equal-time regulations. While Biden is famously a native of Scranton, Pa., he has never appeared on The Office, a show set in that city.

After Tuesday, Parks & Recreation character Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), who on the series has both a mother and a pair of ex-wives with the name “Tammy,” might want to steer clear of Washington for awhile. A pair of Tammys (Sen.-elect Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin and Rep.-elect Tammy Duckworth of Illinois) were both elected to seats in Congress on Tuesday.
