Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series The Newsroom, which maligned as it was managed to secure a second season, announced two promising casting additions last week.
Comedian Patton Oswalt, Deadline reported, will join the show in the recurring role of a human resources representative at the show’s TV news network, ACN. In addition, Rosemarie DeWitt (from “Rachel Getting Married” and Mad Men) will also recur as a lawyer representing the network.
Oswalt will also be appearing as a guest star on Justified next year.
