Baseball manager Ozzie Guillen may be out of a job, but that doesn’t mean no one wants to make a movie about him.

Actor John Ortiz- who bears more than a passing resemblance to the controversial skipper- said in an interview with Showbiz Cafe that he is eyeing an Ozzie biopic, along the lines of “Moneyball.”

The Venezuela-born Guillen, known for frequent controversial comments, spent seven years as manager of the Chicago White Sox, a team for which he had previously played. In 2005, he managed the Sox to their first championship since 1917.

But Guillen’s next job, with the Miami Marlins; didn’t go as well. Guillen was heavily criticized for praising Fidel Castro, the team finished in last place, Guillen was fired after only one season, and a Showtime reality show about the club was cancelled prematurely.

Ortiz can currently be seen playing Bradley Cooper’s best friend in “The Silver Linings Playbook.”
