No, “Zero Dark Thirty” isn’t going to win every critics award this year. Just most of them.
Indiewire’s annual critics poll Tuesday named the exhilaratingly unconventional French film “Holy Motors” as its best film of 2012. The Indiewire critics also honored that film’s Denis Lavant for Best Performance, although it gave its Best Director award to “Zero Dark Thirty”‘s Kathryn Bigelow, rather than “Holy Motors”‘ Leos Carax.
The 204 critics who voted placed “Holy Motors” first, followed by “The Master,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Amour” and “This is Not a Film.”
