Checking the calendar, and it is not yet Feb. 10, the return date for AMC’s The Walking Dead. Some rumored details are leaking out, however. Spoiler TV picked up some episode names and synopses from a Dutch site. My Dutch is sorely lacking, but the plot details seem legit.
Episode 9 – The Suicide King
Rick tries to rescue one of his group members. Woodbury is in disarray after a recent attack. New guests staying in the prison are a cause for concern.
(Brian’s Thoughts:We saw Tyreese and his group enter the prison in the midseason finale, so this sounds right. Didn’t look like Rick and the gang fortified the back entrance very well.)
Episode 10 – Home
The group is preparing their next step. Rick goes in search of his lost friend and meanwhile, Daryl and Merle are wondering if they themselves made the right decisions. The governor of Woodbury tries to restore order in the town and is planning to punish the people responsible for the chaos.
(Brian’s Thoughts: I really, really hope this is true and that Daryl and Merle both survive. They’ve become two of my favorite characters, and it sounds like a lot of fans agree. I hate there was never a showdown between T-Dawg and Merle. Missed opportunity, that.)
Episode 11 – I Ain´t A Judas
Rick and the group are forced to make a decision now that their safety is no longer guaranteed. Andrea feels uncomfortable now that Woodbury has become a police state.
(Brian’s Thoughts: Andrea feels uncomfortable now that she knows Woodbury is a police state. The freedom of Woodbury’s people was only an elaborate illusion, which Michonne tried explaining to Andrea. That lady is good with a gun, but a painfully bad judge of character.)
