While we try and leave the gaming talk to the folks who know a bit more, our sister site GamerTell, there are some that we simply cannot ignore. That being the case, one such game has officially landed in the iOS App Store this morning — Walking Dead: The Game from Telltale Inc. The game is priced at $4.99 and is universal in nature which means it will run equally nice on the big screen of the iPad and the smaller screen of the iPhone.
The Walking Dead game is sitting at version 1.0, measures in as a 329MB file download and requires iOS 4.2 or later for use. This game will run only on the iPad 2 and new iPad and only on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Telltale clearly notes that this “will not run on earlier devices.”
This release arrives as Episode 1 with plans for 2,3,4 and 5 to come later. The future episodes will be available as in-app purchases. For those who cannot wait to part with some money, you can pre-order Episodes 2-5 as of today and get a 25 percent discount. Finally, the episodes break down as follows;
