AT&T has come forward with some details in terms of their 4G LTE network expansion. And in a little bit of happier news, they have flipped the switch for a handful of new markets today. Yup, July 26th means 4G LTE coverage for the following markets;
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Miami, Florida
West Palm Beach, Florida
Boston (area), Massachusetts
Worchester (area), Massachusetts
Greater Baltimore region into Anne Arundel County, Ellicott City
Greater Washington, D.C., Region into Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, Further into Northern Virginia
With that, if you find yourself with an AT&T 4G LTE compatible device, now may be the time to begin taking advantage of the new found speeds. And for those still sporting a 3G device, now may be a good time to begin thinking about an upgrade.
