AT&T has come forward with some details in terms of their 4G LTE network expansion. And in a little bit of happier news, they have flipped the switch for a handful of new markets today. Yup, July 26th means 4G LTE coverage for the following markets;

  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  • Miami, Florida
  • West Palm Beach, Florida
  • Boston (area), Massachusetts
  • Worchester (area), Massachusetts
  • Greater Baltimore region into Anne Arundel County, Ellicott City
  • Greater Washington, D.C., Region into Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, Further into Northern Virginia

With that, if you find yourself with an AT&T 4G LTE compatible device, now may be the time to begin taking advantage of the new found speeds. And for those still sporting a 3G device, now may be a good time to begin thinking about an upgrade.
