If you happen to have been using the Mint.com app on Android, specifically on a 7-inch Android tablet — an update has come available in Google Play that you will likely want to download. The update addresses some issues that were troubling for 7-inch tablet users in general, as well as those with the Nexus 7 and Jelly Bean. This update also included something nice for smartphone users. Beginning first with the tablet related changes;
- Enhancements and Bug Fixes for 7″ Tablets
- Enhancements and Bug Fixes Android 4.1 (JellyBean) Devices
- Bug fix for Settings issue with Nexus 7 devices
As for me, I can say that this update did fix at least one BIG issue for me — the settings on the Nexus 7. You see, while the app would install and run just fine — the settings were messed up a bit and you could not set your lock passcode for the app. Simply put, with this update you now can. Otherwise, as for what the update has brought for the smartphone side; general bug fixes along with the app now longer showing in your recent apps. This was done intentionally to help avoid showing your finances. With that, follow the via link below and grab the latest for Mint.com on Android.
