Quick heads up for all our readers in Canada, specifically those who are existing TELUS customers or those who are planning to get a smartphone from this Canadian carrier. TELUS is currently running a sale which runs for 72 hours only. And among the smartphones eligible for purchase on the sale is the Samsung Nexus S. You can grab said device at no cost provided that you sign a one-year contract agreement with TELUS. Option to avail the device sans contract is also also available and will cost you $499. Other smartphones in the sale lineup include the BlackBerry Curve 9380, BlackBerry Torch 9800 and HTC Desire HD. Of course if you’re not into BlackBerry and would rather have an Android device, the Nexus S is the better deal than the HTC Desire HD by virtue of the fact that it will get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update soon.
