Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet now available for pre-order, set to begin shipping on August 3rd

Some good news for those who have been waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 — the tablet has come available for pre-order. And better yet, the tablet is expected to begin shipping soon. The listing is with Negri Electronics and the tablet is expected to begin shipping on August 3rd — today. As far as the price goes, the tablet, which has 16GB of internal storage is priced at $749.50.

Otherwise, pricing and availability aside — lets get into the specs. Or at least for some, a refresher on the specs. The Galaxy Note 10.1 will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is listed as having network connectivity in the form of HSDPA, 21 Mbps and HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps.

The remaining hardware specs include a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) touchscreen, quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus and an LED flash. Finally, the Galaxy Note 10.1 measures in at 256.7 x 175.3 x 8.9mm and weighs in at 583 grams.
