Coming after roughly two years of sitting as an invitation-only service, Pinterest has recently dropped that requirement. The news comes from the official Pinterest Blog where they have announced open registration. Simply put, if you had been hoping to get on Pinterest but were either deterred by the need of an invite or for some reason were not able to get an invite — fire up your web browser, surf on over to Pinterest and create an account. That being said, you can now sign up using your existing Facebook and/or Twitter account as well as a regular old email address.
