Earlier in the week we watched as Sprint knocked $50 off the purchase price of the iPhone 4S, and well, it looks like Apple stores have been given the green light to price match. We have yet to hear this bit of good news direct from anyone at Apple. Instead the details have arrived by way of an image that was leaked to the folks at MacRumors. Needless to say, said image states that Apple will price match which means you can get the iPhone 4 or 4S at a discount. And on top of the Sprint offer, this also applies to some Best Buy, Radio Shack and Target pricing. The one catch, the Apple price matching has to be done in-store and cannot be applied to online purchases. That being said, this means Apple stores will be able to sell the 8GB iPhone 4 for $49.99, the 16GB iPhone 4S for $149.99, the 32GB iPhone 4S for $249.99 and the 64GB iPhone 4S for $349.99 — provided you ask.
