While many in the tech and gadget world are probably not convinced that we need to see 13-inch tablets, it looks like a few manufacturers feel otherwise. We have seen a 13-inch tablet from Toshiba and now it looks like Archos has one of their own. The catch here, the Archos tablet has yet to be officially unveiled. What we have at this time, an FCC filing. Sadly though, an FCC filing with few details. What we do know shows that the device is going to be FamilyPad branded and that it will feature a 13.3-inch display. The tablet will be the Archos MW13 FamilyPad and have features to include a single-core Allwinner A10 ARM Cortex-A8 processor, front and rear-facing cameras, two USB ports, an SD card slot, headphone jack and speakers. Otherwise, given the other tablet models in the FamilyPad lineup, we would suspect that the MW13 will come with options for 8GB and 16GB of internal storage space. That being said, given this has crossed the path of the FCC, we suspect a US release, or at the very least a US announcement will be coming sooner rather than later.
