Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 a fair while back and while we here in the US have been able to purchase the device for a few months, those over in the UK were not quite as lucky. But it looks like that will soon be turning around. A new product listing with the Carphone Warehouse has the Wi-Fi only and the Wi-Fi and 3G models of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet as coming available on August 22nd. Well, technically speaking, the product listings are showing an “expected” release date of August 22nd. That bit aside though, the Wi-Fi only model is priced at £299.99 and the Wi-Fi and 3G model is priced at £399.99 — both have 16GB of internal storage space. Otherwise, the features of the tablet include a 10.1-inch display at 1024 x 600, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 7000 mAh battery, 3 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
