Introduced first during Mobile Web Congress in Barcelona, the Huawei Ascend D Quad XL was just spotted to have landed with the FCC. And as what Huawei previewed back then, the device is the XL version of the smartphone. Unfortunately, it won’t be carrying LTE-capabilities but instead features HSPA+ connectivity. The FCC filling for the handset also reveals that it will be brandishing a more powerful 12MP camera. As opposed to the previously announced 8MP. Aside from this, the Ascend D Quad XL will also be featuring HDMI and MHL for video playback on your HDTV as well as NFC capability. Just to remind you, while the device may have reached the FCC for approval it does not necessarily mean that we will see this device getting a widespread release. Your best bet in owning one will be to have it imported from China later this month or from Europe sometime in October. Until then, good luck in finding the Huawei Ascend D Quad XL.
