Some good news for those who either do not, or prefer to not speak English while using Google Voice Search on a mobile device. Well, more specifically, on an Android device. It seems Google has recently added support for an additional 13 languages. The new support comes for;

Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, European Portuguese, Finnish, Galician, Hungarian, Icelandic, Norwegian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Swedish

This brings the total of supported Voice Search languages up to 42 (with accents in 46 countries). That bit aside though, those with a device running Android 2.2 or later will see the microphone icon on the Google Search widget — from here you simply have to tap the icon and begin speaking. You can also install the Voice Search app which can be found in Google Play. Finally, there is one limitation (though we suspect that this will not bother all that many users) — you can only speak in one language per search.
