If there’s a Galaxy Ace Duos, there has to be a Samsung Galaxy S Duos as well. And so Samsung did not waste time and announced the device with a promised release date of sometime in September for the European market. According to Samsung, this handset is geared for the “active young professionals” and ideal for users who know how to balance their career and social lifestyles. Having said that, the Galaxy S Duos is a dual-sim Android 4.0 ICS smartphone loaded with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch display, 5MP rear-facing camera, 1500 mAH battery, and 4GB of on-board storage. It features a unique “dual SIM always on” feature that lets you take incoming calls on one SIM while taking a call from the other SIM. The device also allows you to set different billing plans for the two SIMs. Additionally, the device is pre-loaded with Samsung’s ChatON communication service for providing easy instant messaging, group chatting and content sharing. For those of you in Europe who are planning to get toned-down version of the Galaxy S3, well the Galaxy S Duos seem like the phone that you’ve been waiting for. For those not in Europe, Samsung promised to release the device in other international markets later on.
