As previously reported, the latest Google Maps update doesn’t play nice with the HTC Sensation 4G and the HTC Rezound. Starting the application will almost certainly end with the device rebooting itself. On Thursday, T-Mobile stepped in to address the issue.In a support document, T-Mobile says Google and HTC are working to provide a fix as soon as possible. Until then, T-Mobile advised users to uninstall the latest Google Maps update. That’s something a lot of people had done by now.
It’s certainly an annoying problem, but at least the core functionality of Google Maps is still intact. We’ll let you know as soon as an update is released.
