While the Galaxy Nexus is no longer the newest kid on the block, it is still a solid handset. And it looks like those who have been considering a purchase of the Verizon Wireless compatible version will be able to get the handset for free. Well, free on a two-year agreement anyway. The offer comes by way of Best Buy who are offering just that — a free Verizon Galaxy Nexus. The product listing notes the handset as shipping in 2-5 business days, however we suspect that a visit to a retail location will score you the handset immediately. And just as a reminder, the Galaxy Nexus sports a 4.65-inch display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage space, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, Android Ice Cream Sandwich and 4G LTE connectivity.
