IFA 2012: TomTom announces navigation app for Android

Coming out of IFA 2012 as a short and to the point announcement, TomTom shared the news of an upcoming navigation app for Android. Based on what has been mentioned thus far, the app will feature “map and traffic technologies.” Perhaps more to the point, the TomTom navigation app for Android will have goodies to include “on-board maps, IQ Routes and HD Traffic” which will give Android users up to date maps, the fastest routes and the most accurate arrival times. The app is expected to arrive in October and as of this time — the pricing remains a mystery.
