Verizon Wireless has officially announced a phablet, the LG Intuition. The handset will be available later this week, on Thursday September 6th. Well, more specifically, the handset will be available online beginning on the 6th and then find its way into retail stores beginning on September 10th. As far as the price goes, the LG Intuition will set you back $199.99 which comes along with the usual two-year agreement.
Also worth noting, those who make the purchase online between September 6th and September 10th will get a free LG Tone Stereo Bluetooth headset for free. I guess Verizon realizes that you may look like a tool holding a 5-inch ‘phone’ up to your head. That aside though, lets get into the specs. The LG Intuition has a 5-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Otherwise, the handset is noted as being business ready.
And perhaps more exciting for some, the LG Intuition ships with a Notebook app and a QuickMemo app.
Finally, the LG Intuition also has the LG Tag+ app and ships with two reprogrammable NFC (Near Field Communications) stickers that can be used to customize settings with a simply tap. According to Verizon;
