T-Mobile had previously announced their Unlimited Nationwide 4G data plan, however the good news as of today — the new plan is now available. That being said, T-Mobile is launching this new data plan in part of a “10 years of innovation” celebration. For example, they were the first to offer Wi-Fi calling in the US (in 2007), the first to break the subsidy model (in 2009) and perhaps the most exciting for some — the first US carrier to launch an Android device (the T-Mobile G1 in 2008). Those firsts aside, the addition of this plan comes as a new first — the first and only carrier with a nationwide 4G network to offer unlimited nationwide 4G data. Of course, the 4G network is really HSPA+ (21 and 42). That bit aside though, the Unlimited Nationwide 4G data plan features “no data caps, no speed limits and no overages” and can be added for as little as $20 per month. Or more specifically, the Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan will cost $20 per month for those with a Value voice and text plan or $30 per month for those with a Classic voice and text plan.
