For our friends in Germany who haven’t disposed of their Samsung Galaxy Note, well good for you. Samsung is reportedly rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Note in Germany as we speak. And according to those who have updated their handset to the latest firmware, which is XXLRQ, the update brings in a new interface in addition to several features from the Galaxy S III and the upcoming Galaxy Note 2. These features are – Pop Up Play, new Note 2-style 3D gallery app, enhancements to the lock screen and home screen and S Cloud contact back-up among others. In short, the update brings in a whole new interface for the Galaxy Note.

The update is currently being rolled out in Germany via Kies and as an OTA update. The good news here for those not living in Germany is that, the update will most definitely be rolled in other countries sooner than we think. Take note, the update is being pushed to the unlocked, international version of the original Galaxy Note.
