PayPal has been busy lately in terms of mobile apps. We saw the recent update for Android which brought a new look and feel. And well, that same look and feel has since landed on a new mobile platform — Windows Phone. The app, which is available by way of the Marketplace is available for devices running Windows Phone 7.5 or later. As one would suspect, the app is free to download and free to use. Perhaps more important though — the features. PayPal for Windows Phone arrives with support for managing your account to include the ability to check your balance, withdraw funds and view past transactions as well as the ability to send and/or request money. Additionally, PayPal for Windows Phone also has the new “Local” feature which will allow you to find (and pay) local merchants that accept PayPal Here.
