Sprint has officially announced the latest in their 4G LTE network roll-out. And nicely done, this is a big announcement — more than 100 additional cities over the next few months. Well, specifically speaking, Sprint promised 4G LTE coverage for “more than 100 additional cities within its existing nationwide 3G footprint” within the “coming months.” And further details note that coverage may show up before an official announcement, which tells us that those with a 4G LTE capable Sprint handset may want to keep an eye out. In terms of the 100 additional cities, those will include some of the major metropolitan areas such as Boston, Massachusetts; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; Indianapolis, Indiana; Los Angeles, California; Memphis, Tennessee; Miami, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans, Louisiana; New York, New York; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.
