Following an image leak, AT&T has officially announced the LG Escape smartphone. The handset will be available beginning on September 16th. The Escape will set you back $49.99 on a two-year agreement and will bring features to include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4.3-inch qHD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass and 4GB of internal storage space. Otherwise, the handset will also have a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a microSD card slot, 2150 mAh battery and 4G LTE connectivity. Bottom line here, the LG Escape may not be the most exciting Android smartphone release, but at the same time — it does come with some decent specs and perhaps more important for some — an affordable price tag.
