In addition to the iPhone 5, Apple also rolled-out some updated iPod models. Specifically, an update to the iPod touch and iPod nano families. Beginning first with the iPod touch (pictured above), this will bring goodies to include a 4-inch Retina display, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and 1080p HD video recording, Siri and of course — iOS 6. Next up, the iPod nano lineup (pictured above). The iPod nano will be available in seven colors (pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, silver and slate) and feature a 2.5-inch multi-touch display, navigation buttons and Bluetooth. Similar to the iPod touch, this generation iPod nano will be the thinnest, measuring in at 5mm thick. It will also feature the largest display ever for the nano. Some of the other iPod nano goodies include a 30 hour battery life, a built-in pedometer and Nike+ support.

Otherwise, both the iPod touch and iPod nano will feature the new Lightning connector and ship with the new Apple EarPods.

Finally, the pricing and the availability. The iPod touch will be available in a 32GB model and a 64GB model and priced at $299 and $399 respectively. The touch will be available in October with pre-orders beginning on September 14th. The iPod nano will be available in a 16GB model and priced at $149.
