Verizon Wireless announced the Droid RAZR M (alongside the RAZR HD and RAZR HD MAXX) back on September 5th. And well, as of today the Droid RAZR M is available for purchase. The handset is priced at $99.99, which comes after an online (instant) discount of $50 and on a two-year agreement. As for the specs, while they are not the highest we have seen, they certainly seem nice for the price. In fact, the only catch I can really see here, the 8GB of internal storage space is a bit limiting. Otherwise, the Droid RAZR M brings goodies to include a 4.3-inch (960 x 540) Super AMOLED Advanced display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, 2000 mAh battery, front-facing camera with 720p HD video recording and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording. Also worth noting, you can launch the camera from the lock screen. You can expect to find Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (with a Jelly Bean update promised to arrive before the end of the year). And finally, as we have seen with other RAZR handsets, the RAZR M has the scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display, water-repellent nano-coating and is “made KEVLAR strong.”
