PowerSkin has released a battery case for the Galaxy S III smartphone. And perhaps one of the perks here (aside from the extra battery power), the case is said to NOT interfere with NFC. That bit aside though, the PowerSkin is sporting a 1500 mAh battery and is a one-piece soft-touch (silicone) case. It weighs in at 95 grams and should give the user up to an extra 170 minutes of talk time or up to an extra 97 hours on standby. The PowerSkin also has other features to include;

  • On / off button located on the side gives users power on demand
  • Smart Power Management shuts off PowerSkin when phone is fully charged for zero loss of power
  • Included cable allows users to sync data while re-charging
  • LED battery lights display charging status

Finally, the case is available as of today and is priced at $79.99.
