Apple is NOT giving you a free Lightning adapter with the iPhone 5, but they will sell you one for $29

Despite some reports suggesting that Apple was including a free Lightning to 30-pin adapter with the iPhone 5 — that is not the case. We are not saying that some users did not see a free Lightning adapter as being included as there was clear evidence that showed they were but the bottom line here — do NOT expect to get an adapter for free. Of course, if you are in a situation where you need one, Apple will gladly sell you one for $29.
