Nothing like kicking the rumors and speculation off early. In this case, we are talking about 5 to 6 months ahead of the expected announcement. The device, the Samsung Galaxy S IV. The details are coming by way of a recent report in The Korea Times which is based on details from both company officials and local part suppliers. In short, the handset is expected to be announced during Mobile World Congress — in 2013. Anyway, that unnamed company official reportedly stated that the handset would be available a month after the announcement, which means roughly March of 2013. Otherwise, so far the details are light and suggest the Galaxy S IV as sporting a larger (possible 5-inch OLED) display, an Exynos processor (as opposed to a Snapdragon) and of course, LTE connectivity. That all being said, while there is still plenty of official details needed, we can see this timeline doing one thing — keeping Samsung inline with a one-year Galaxy S refresh path.
