It is looking like Verizon has finally begun pushing Jelly Bean out to the Galaxy Nexus. Or maybe a bit more accurately, Verizon appears to have made the Jelly Bean update available for those who are searching it out. But rest assured, we are talking about a regular over-the-air software update here. No leaked ROMs or anything like that. The details of the Galaxy Nexus Jelly Bean update have come by way of the folks over at Droid-Life who note that the update is available for those who check. The update is said to be arriving as Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and with build number JRO03O. It was also noted that the update (at this time) seems to only be showing for those checking while connected to Wi-Fi. That being said, if you are sporting a Verizon Galaxy Nexus — make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and then navigate to Menu -> Settings -> System update to see if you have a new dessert waiting.
