Rogers originally launched their One Number service back in February. And for those who missed that bit, the One Number allows Rogers customers to make calls from a computer using their existing phone number. Just as the name implies, one number. Of course, being able to make calls from a regular computer only goes so far in todays world of pocketable mobile devices and tablets. That thought comes with some good news though, Rogers has launched a native One Number app for the iPad as of today. And on top of that, they have promised that an app for Android tablets would be available soon. Simply put, if you have an iPad (or soon an Android tablet) and are a Rogers One Number customer you will now be able to make a call from anywhere in the world and have it show your existing number. Well, that is assuming said tablet is connected to a Wi-Fi network and you have the app installed.
