MetroPCS Samsung Galaxy S III release confirmed for October

We had known that the Galaxy S III was coming to MetroPCS, however the last we had heard was the release was set for the generic sounding later this year. Thankfully as of today, we something a bit better. Not a specific date just yet, however MetroPCS has added a coming soon style teaser page for the handset which places the release as sometime next month. Yup, the Galaxy S III will be available with MetroPCS in October. The pricing has yet to be revealed, however this will be the Galaxy S III that many have already come to love. In other words, the handset will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and with specs to include a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 2100 mAh battery, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
