Foursquare for iPhone has been updated. The latest release, which comes as version 5.3 has recently been made available by way of the iOS App Store. This update brings the (given the time) expected support for the iPhone 5 and iOS 6, however that is not the only additions and changes. In fact, Foursquare for iPhone v5.3 has also brought an updated Explore tab. The perks of the Explore tab now include being able to instantly see nearby friends and top suggestions. You can now search for specific places or general terms such as “nachos.” Well, that is should you be craving nachos. There are also other options such as being able to search only places you have already been, only places that you have saved to a list and even places that you haven’t been to. And finally, the option to get directions, hours, images, tips and the menu remain. Bottom line, if you are a Foursquare user on the iPhone — fire up the App Store and grab this latest release.
