LG has confirmed the specs for the Optimus Vu II smartphone. Or possibly more accurate, the Optimus Vu II phablet. But smartphone phablet argument aside, this handset will be bringing goodies to include a 5-inch (1024 x 768) IPS display along with LTE and VoLTE connectivity. Otherwise, the Optimus Vu II will have some spec improvements over the currently available Optimus Vu.
Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus processor (a bump up from an S3 Snapdragon)
2GB of RAM (a bump up from 1GB)
2150 mAh battery (a bump up from a 2080 mAh)
Otherwise, the remaining specs break down as follows;
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
Rubberdium Pen 2.0
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, USB 2.0
1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
8 megapixel rear-facing camera
Measurements: 132.2 x 85.6 x 9.4
Weight: 159 grams
Colors: Black, White and Pink
Also worth noting, the Rubberdium Pen, this (version 2.0) will have a thinner nub — one that is said to be more precise. Finally, availability is limited to those in Korea at the moment and given we have only recently seen the Optimus Vu land here in the US, we suspect the Vu II release is still sometime away.
