We recently mentioned that Sony had begun selling an unlocked version of the Xperia Acro S in the US. And well, it looks like they have since added two more unlocked Xperia handsets to the available device category. The newly listed models include the Xperia Tipo and the Xperia Tipo Dual.

The Xperia Tipo is available in black, white, red or blue and the Tipo Dual available in black or white. Otherwise, the specs are similar for these handsets and include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 3.2-inch (320 x 480) scratch-resistant display, 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, a little over 2GB of free storage space, a microSD card slot and a 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera.

The Tipo Dual has the advantage for those who like to travel or manage multiple carriers and/or lines on the same handset — it has two SIM card slots.

Finally, the Tipo is selling for $179.99 and the Tipo Dual is selling for $10 more, at $189.99.
