They Verizon Galaxy Nexus may not be the newest handset on the market these days. But at the same time, it is one of the few that happens to be running the latest version of Android. And on that note, it becomes a slightly hard device to pass up when you can pick it up for just $0.97. Yup, less than a buck. Of course, that is on a two-year agreement with Verizon Wireless. This offer is coming from Walmart and although we expect it will be available online at some point — as of this time you will have to visit a Walmart retail store to get this deal. Otherwise, for those needing a refresher, aside from running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Galaxy Nexus brings 4G LTE support along with a 4.65-inch (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, an 1850 mAh battery, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash.
