The Facebook Messenger app for the iPhone (and iPod touch) has recently been updated. This update brings the app up to version 2.0 and with the new version number comes a few new features along with some improvements. Of course, as one may have suspect given the recent release of the iPhone 5 and iOS 6, this update has brought proper support for both. In addition, a new feature is the ability to swipe left anywhere in the app to quickly see who’s available and send a message. Those using the app will also now be able to add friends that you message the most often to the top of your favorites section. And finally, there is a new design for conversations along with some bug fixes and improved speed and reliability.
