Windows Phone 8 pre-orders rumored to kick off on October 21st

While this bit has yet to be confirmed by AT&T, rumor has it that the carrier will begin accepting pre-orders for Windows Phone 8 smartphones beginning on October 21st. This is expected to include handsets from Nokia and HTC, the Lumia 920 and Windows Phone 8X respectively. And in addition to the Windows Phone 8 pre-orders, the carrier is also expected to begin pre-orders for Windows 8 tablets on the same day. The tablets would include the recently announced Asus Vivo Tab RT and the Samsung Ativ Smart PC. That being said, the Windows Phone 8 devices are expected to arrive in early November and the Windows Phone 8 tablets are expected to arrive a week after the pre-orders, on October 26th.
