Coming as confirmation to the previous rumors, it looks like Samsung will indeed announce a Galaxy S III Mini on October 11th. The handset is going to be announced (at least initially) for those in Germany and will bring a 4-inch display. For those wondering why a shrunken down version of the Galaxy S III makes sense. According to JK Shin, “there’s a lot of demand for a 4-inch screen device in Europe.” The one point of curiosity here, Shin also noted that while some may describe this an “entry-level” device they call it a “mini.” Lets hope that the smaller display is the only change as compared to the regular full-sized version of the Galaxy S III. Either way though, those details should all be official come tomorrow.
