We have seen Ubuntu One apps and support for a wide variety of devices. And the latest Ubuntu One app has just recently come available. Though, we should clarify that this release is still considered a beta at the moment. That said, the release is for Mac OS X (10.6 or higher) and means that Mac users will now be able to sync with and access any data from their Ubuntu One account. This of course, rounds out the three desktop platforms with an Ubuntu One app already having been available for both Linux and Windows. And for those wondering about Ubuntu One, this is a cloud based storage solution. And honestly, it brings features similar to other services. You can get a free Ubuntu One account that has 5GB of storage or a 20GB account for $2.99 per month or a 20GB account with music streaming for $3.99 per month.
