Alcatel has just introduced its latest mobile device, the One Touch Evo 7. Yes folks, it is a tablet, an Android tablet at that. While the One Touch Evo 7 may seem like a pretty normal 7-inch tablet, there’s something peculiar about. Said tablet happens to come with a “3G Module” which gives the device 3G connectivity. The peculiar thing is that this “3G Module” is removable and when detached from the tablet, it then becomes a Wi-Fi only device. It’s a bit baffling as to why Alcatel did not just make it as an undetachable part of the device? Well, only Alcatel can answer that question. For now, let’s just take a quick look as to what this tablet has to offer. The One Touch Evo 7 features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz processor, microSD card and a front-facing camera. No word yet as to when the Alcatel One Touch Evo 7 will be released.
