OnLive is primarily known as a cloud gaming company, but it also runs a cloud computing program for content creation called OnLive Desktop. OnLive Desktop has been available for iOS and Android for a good while, but OnLive just updated the app to support 7-inch Android tablets such as the Nexus 7.

OnLive Desktop provides access to Microsoft’s suite of Office software such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. OnLive Desktop users can begin creating content using these programs on their tablet, and save their process to the cloud for easy access anywhere they have an internet connection. Files that exist on a computer can also be uploaded to files.onlive.com where they’ll be synced with OnLive Desktop.

OnLive Desktop is free with 2GB of cloud storage. There are also $4.99 and $9.99 a month service plans that unlock the web browser and increase the amount of cloud storage.
