Forget the Asus Padfone as an image of the Asus Padfone 2 has recently been leaked

Despite never hearing all that much about the original Padfone, it looks like Asus is getting ready to unveil the follow-up, the Padfone 2. In fact, rumor has it that Asus will be unveiling the device this week. That bit aside though, an image of the Padfone 2 has recently been leaked by way of the @evleaks Twitter account. We don’t have all that much in terms of specs or details just yet, however the Padfone 2 will be similar to the original in that it will be a smartphone that docks into a tablet. The Padfone 2 smartphone display is said to be HD in resolution and 4.7-inches in size. Of course, we also suspect it will be similar to the original in that most people will forget all about it shortly after the official announcement.
