Samsung Comment 2, a quick messaging style handset, announced for Cricket Wireless

While we often talk smartphones here at GadgeTell, we should not completely forget about the feature and quick messaging style handsets. After all, some are sure to want a device with a lower price tag and a lower monthly cost. You know, a slightly more basic device that works primarily as a phone and offers a solid way to message. Well, enter the Samsung Comment 2 which was recently revealed as coming to Cricket Wireless. We have yet to see a price from the carrier, however given the original Samsung Comment is priced at $39.99, we expect the Comment 2 to arrive low priced. And for those wondering, the Samsung Comment 2 features include a 2.4-inch (320 x 240) display, full hardware QWERTY keyboard, a 1000 mAh battery, 256MB of internal storage space, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 2-megapixel camera.
