Twitter for Android has been updated; brings pinch-to-zoom on photos, new profiles with header photos and more

The Twitter app has recently been updated on Android. This update is available by way of Google Play and brings the app up to version 3.4.0. As far as the new features and changes go, Twitter for Android v3.4.0 includes the following;

• New profiles with header photos
• Photo streams on profiles and events
• Pinch-to-zoom on photos
• Search suggestions for people, topics and hashtags
• Improved protected account management including the ability to accept or deny follower requests

And finally, what update would be complete without the vague mention of “other improvements, polish, and fixes.” That said, those using the official Twitter app on Android — fire up Google Play and get to updating.
