Coming with few clues as to what we may be seeing, Google has announced an Android event for later in the month. The event is scheduled for October 29th and will take place in New York City. The invite notes that “The Playground Is Open” and leaves it at that. We have seen plenty of Android related rumors over the past few weeks and months so the event could be covering any amount of subjects. Maybe some new Nexus smartphones, maybe the rumored $99 Nexus 7 and maybe even some new software — Android 4.2. That all being said, while this event will be taking place in NYC and only for those who were invited — Google will be live streaming the event on YouTube. A bit more specifically, if you want to watch, be sure to point your browser toward youtube.com/android at 10:00 AM EST on October 29th.
