Google reveals a new $249 Chromebook

Google just made Chromebooks more approachable. Today, Google announced a new Samsung Chromebook that will sell for $249. The official website says this new Chromebook will be available to pre-order today at 12pm PST. Availability begins on Monday.

The new Samsung Chromebook has a 11.6-inch screen, is powered by a Samsung dual-core Exynos processor, has two USB ports, a HDMI port and a 16GB solid state drive. Anyone who purchases this Chromebook will get 100GB of Google Drive cloud storage for two years. Google is also claiming the battery of this Chromebook will last 6.5 hours.
